Brad Pitt and George Clooney meet again at the Grévin…

Brad Pitt

Stéphane Barret, the sculptor, is the author of the charismatic American superstar's "twin".
The figure was produced entirely from photographic and video documents, which was quite a challenge for each of the artists who worked on the project.

Brad Pitt, wearing a light suit, a waistcoat and a white dress shirt, is very much in keeping with his usual elegance. George Clooney, one of his fellow stars in "Ocean's Eleven", was already in the Grévin to greet him.

A double incarnation of charm to fascinate more than ever the numerous admirers of these two international filmdom celebrities.

Close by are Carole Bouquet, Thierry Lhermitte, Arielle Dombasle, Elton John, Julien Clerc…

The Grévin has invited Brad Pitt to come and see his wax figure and hopes he will be able to when he is next in Paris.

Brad Pitt was born on December 18th, 1963 in Shawnee (Oklahoma) and grew up in Springfield (Missouri) before training as a journalist in the University of Missouri (Columbia).  He moved to Los Angeles and took acting lessons with Roy London.  His natural charm and spontaneity earned him parts on television.  France discovered him in the early 90s in Thelma & Louise. After which he played in a number of films which are now cult classics: Interview with the Vampire, Seven, 12 Monkeys, Sleepers and Fight Club with Edward Norton. After Snatch (2000) and Spy Game (2001) he joined the Steven Soderbergh and George Clooney circle, when he played in Ocean's Eleven (2001), followed by Ocean's Twelve and Ocean's Thirteen.

When they were both starring in the action film Mr. and Mrs. Smith (2005), he met Angelina Jolie, and they are now one of the planet's most famous and glamorous couples.

In 2007, his role in The Assassination of Jesse James, directed by Andrew Dominik earned him the Volpi Cup award for Best Actor at the 64th Venice International Film Festival.  He then played in an amazing variety of films: comedy in Burn After Reading, by the Coen brothers, then fantasy with The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, where he worked with David Fincher for the third time.  In the same vein of illustrious film directors, he played one of the starring roles in Quentin Tarantino's war film, Inglourious Basterds.

In the spring of 2011, he appeared as Sean Penn's father in Terrence Malick's much awaited The Tree of Life, which won the Palme d'Or at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival.

You always wanted to be photographed next to Brad Pitt...and now you can, at the Grévin Museum.
